This 12" model was probably manufactured in 1913, possibly 1911.

A 12" oscillating model manufactured in 1937. Unfortunately this fan was ruined by a previous owner who ran it dry of lubricant, damaging the spindle on which the rotor spins and causing excessive vibration. One of my early lessons in Ebay caveat emptor.

My favorite fan. Emerson made a lot of these for government applications, probably from the late 1930's through the 40's. These fans are very efficient, featuring 6-pole motors (most fans from that period are 4-pole.) I love these things. Unlike my other fans which I normally don't operate, this guy is a workhorse. I have another of this 16" model and the 12" version, both in rough shape and currently waiting to be reconditioned.

I don't know GE models as well as Emersons, but this model was likely manufactured in the early 1930's. It's a nice little oscillating fan, currently disassembled for a rebuild and repaint.
